I hope everyone has recovered from the long travel home! *- For those of you who were not at church Sunday, several Team Members got to share a "God moment" or an meaningful experience that they encountered on their trip to Honduras. Because of time constraints, however, many did not get the opportunity to speak.
I wanted to open the blog so that everyone who wants can contribute THEIR story for all to read. On Sunday, numbers of church members expressed a genuine appreciation and heartfelt interest in those stories that were shared. Renee ran a 10 minute slideshow of the trip after church in the Great Hall outside the meeting house. The sight of the children sitting cross-legged in front of the screen with the adults standing behind, all in rapt attention, was a testimony to everyone's interest in and appreciation of the mission trip.
I would encourage all of you to post to the blog, even those who spoke in church, since the attendance at the service was light. I know that many of you have posted your pictures to Facebook. For those of us who are either Facebook-phobic, or who are not your "friends", I would ask you a favor--
If you could upload your pictures to Picasa Web Album or its equivalent and post the link in the blog (hopefully with your story), it would allow all of us to share.
Mrs Garrett has posted her video on You Tube. Here is the link.
Please consider posting so that we all appreciate the importance and the power of your mission trip. Through your postings and pictures, we can see God at work through both the Team and the Hondurans you served.
